How You Can Help
<< Volleybees Home

I hate asking for money. It strains the relationship I want to build with you and I don't want to compete with Bond or the AA for donations. But I also want to bring as much Georgia Tech volleyball to you as I'm able and I fund it myself as much as I can, but it's not quite enough.

2005 was the best season we've had as far as support was concerned and all the season's expenses have been covered, with a little extra to seed the 2006 season since Tech did not make the NCAA Tournament.

So how do you help for 2006?

  1. Use the Amazon and iTunes links to buy what you would normally buy through those outlets.
  2. Visit the other advertisers on the site. If you see something you need, buy it.
  3. If you (or your company) can, buy direct sponsorship of the broadcasts. WREK is a non-commercial station, so there are limitations, but I can do live spots for you during timeouts or between games. ActiveMD.com did this last season and got two mentions per match all season long in exchange for funding travel to Colorado State, the ACC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. Contact me directly if you are interested in this.
  4. Donate using the PayPal link on the home page.
  5. Contact me if you have other ways to cover the costs of getting more volleyball on WREK.

I deeply appreciate the help I've received the last four seasons. The broadcasts have been well-received and help the coaches with recruiting top talent to Georgia Tech. I've heard so many great stories from people listening to the NCAA match at Minnesota and I want to make sure we're all together for the next great Georgia Tech volleyball moment.

Thanks for letting me share this with you. Thanks for visiting the web site and supporting the broadcasts. Thanks to the sports staff at WREK for putting the matches on the air. And thanks to Bond, Ben, Sally, Melissa, the players, and the GTAA staff for a great volleyball program.
