- Named the Defensive Player of the Year for Marietta High School in 2000 and ’02

- Participated in the Youth Apprenticeship Program where she apprenticed for Congressman Phil Gingrey, a Tech graduate
- Chosen as Marietta High School’s Gem Student, given by the Kiwanis Club

- Has an older brother, Thomas-John, who was a member of the U.S. Junior National Table Tennis Team
