#22 Miami squeaks past Tech

Junior rightside Monique Mead had 24 kills and junior libero Nicky Meyer had a career-high-tying 25 digs as Tech fell to #22 Miami 25-22, 20-25, 25-20, 15-25, 11-15 Friday night in Atlanta, GA. The loss extended Tech's losing streak to a season-high three matches and made sure the Jackets would not have a winning ACC record. Tech stands at 8-10 in the conference with two matches to play, having matched the program-high in ACC losses. They have two matches to avoid their first losing season since 1990.
