Tech falls at home for first time in 2011

Junior rightside Monique Mead had 21 kills and 9 digs and junior libero Nicki Meyer had 14 digs, but the Jackets fell to Samford 20-25, 23-25, 26-24, 18-25 Saturday night in Atlanta, GA. Samford's scrappy back row and fast attack kept Tech off balance just enough to allow the Bulldogs to steal a win in Atlanta. See story and box score.
