Tech gets first road win at Wake Forest

The Jackets got offensive balance as sophomore outside Jennifer Percy, senior middle Asia Stawicka, and junior outside Monique Mead each had 12 kills leading to a 17-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-12 road win over Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC Saturday night. It was Tech's first road win of the 2011 season. Junior libero Nicki Meyer led the back row with 16 digs and freshman setter Ali Santi notched another double-double with 40 assists and 10 digs.
