All five seniors started and all five seniors contributed to a big 25-18, 29-27, 25-12 Georgia Tech win over Notre Dame Sunday afternoon in Atlanta.
The win moved Tech to 23-7 on the year, their most wins since 27 in 2004. Their 14 ACC wins are the most since 10 in 2010. The Jackets will play two matches next week looking for their first NCAA appearance since 2009.
Senior outside Teegan Van Gunst finished with 16 kills, hitting .256. Senior libero London Ackermann led the back row with 21 digs.
Senior rightside Annika Van Gunst banged out 3 kills with 6 digs and 4 blocks. Senior middle Lauren Pitz put down 5 kills, hitting .833, with 5 blocks.
Senior setter Rebecca Martin handed out 32 assists to an offense that hit .304, while earning 5 kills to go with her 6 digs and 2 blocks.
